Netherlands Ministry of HealthIn a written statement yesterday afternoon, he announced that he was acting on a new report prepared by Lareb, an independent advisory body specializing in drug side effects.

The report prepared by Lareb is about five women between the ages of 25 and 65 who experienced blood clots after receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine.

SIDE EFFECTS ARE SEEN UNDER 60 YEARS OLD

The precautionary measure does not include people aged 60 or over who are scheduled to be vaccinated with AstraZeneca, as potential side effects are mostly seen under the age of 60. Health Minister Huoa de Jonge said, “There can be no doubt about the safety of vaccines. I think it is very important that the Dutch reports are also properly researched. We shouldn’t make a mistake about the measure, so it would be wise to hit the pause button now as a precaution. But only for those under 60, ”he said.

The Ministry advised Dutch doctors to cancel all vaccination appointments under the age of 60 until further notice. It was stated that approximately 400 thousand of the approximately 2 million 300 thousand doses of vaccines applied throughout the country in the Netherlands are AstraZeneca vaccines.
